When we mention love, it always show us
a beautiful picture. So I am very surpri
sed after read the poem ‘song', written
by Jone Donne, it shows us another kind
of love.
In his song, he doesn't believe there is
a woman who is beautiful as well as loy
al. That's what makes me confused. Usual
ly, ‘song' refers to those wonderful thi
ngs such as beautiful sights, happy life
or good mood and so forth. However, thi
s song shows us a totally different pict
ure. Although it begins with some good t
hings, like a falling star, root, with t
he time passing, it ends with despair. I
n a word, he didn't believe the existenc
e of the true love. I guess whether the
writer himself once met such kind of thi
ngs, so is it his experience? Anyway, it
is just guessing.
Maybe at that time, writer began to real
ize the ture life without wishing the id
eal love and describe something ture at
that age. However, I suppose, whatever h
appens, ture love can make lovers trust
each other.
